Apply in a thin layer
Techniques by area:
- Small areas (face, underarms, bikini area):
- Make smaller, slightly thicker strips.
- Apply in the direction of hair growth
- Remove in the opposite direction.
- Large areas (legs, arms, chest, back):
- Apply the wax in long, thin, even strips
- Apply in the direction of hair growth and remove in the opposite direction
- Avoid creating edges that are too thick.
- Pro tips:
- Work on several strips at once to save time
- Allow to dry completely before removal
- When removing the wax, hold the skin taut and make sure to pull parallel to the skin, not upward, to minimize pain and avoid irritation
-
Post-waxing care:
- Apply a post-waxing product to soothe the waxed area
- Recommend a skincare routine suited to your client's skin.
